Heart
failure is the most common nonfatal sequel of various
cardiovascular disorders and the only major heart disease
the burden of which is significantly increasing worldwide.
Even though the causes and the prevalence of heart failure
are dissimilar in different societies, the consequences are
quite comparable, and actually unpleasant, round the world.
Much research has been done to better elucidate the causes,
clinical features, and complications of heart failure, all
of which have led to significant improvement in therapeutic
interventions and therefore longevity and life quality of
heart failure patients.
Given the very positive outlook of the First International
Iranian Heart Failure Summit in 2007 and the experience we
have gained, we are very delighted to march all our sources
to hold the Second International Heart Failure Summit and we
are trying to do our best to have an even more fruitful
summit, compared to the previous one.
We will appreciate any and all supports from the academic
and scientific bodies, national and international scientists
and experts, all other healthcare stakeholders and those who
care to prevent even a single heart from stopping to beat,
to hold this summit in the best way possible.
We are looking forward to meeting you in the summit and we
hope you will find it worthwhile and enjoyable.
